Regarding passport expiry and visa on old passport Edit

Recently my official Indian Passport, which has F1 visa in it, got expired. Since I’m in India then I applied for a new one and got the regular passport. Now, I want to go US for the next semester. Not sure if I can travel with the current passport and old passport together as the expired one is official and new one is regular passport. Please clear my doubt.

You can travel with both your passports,but prior to that please inform the same to the US Immigration so that they will do the needful and you will not face any problem at the entry.
