Not legally married. However, want to migrate with partner! Edit

Hi all, I have a strange question. I want to know more info on visa qualifications. I am currently in Canada with my boyfriend and two children. My partner wants to work in US. He would go there and sponsor my kids, no doubt in that. My question is, can I also apply for a visa along with him as we are not legally married?
