There are heterogeneous advantages to live in Canada. There are many perks the maple leaf  country offers you as an immigrant under the Canada PR Visa norms:

Advantage to Canada.

Much more egalitarian higher education system, where fees to attend some of the world's top Universities (mcGill, U of T, Wateroo, UBC, Queen's etc) are no more than a few thousand C$  per year, vs the mud to high five figures in the US equivalents. The level of quality of education in Canadian Universities and Colleges are also more even, whereas the disparity between the top and lower echelon institutes are much greater.

Politicians are relatively less indentured to interest groups. American democracy should be renamed as US$mocracy to reflect its true nature.

Cops, though having the same blue wall no accountability issues  and trigger happiness as their US counterparts, are less so in Canada in their brutality.

Do not have the shrill likes of Limbaugh, Sterne, Trump, Jessie Jackson and the numerous bible toting preachers hawking their extreme views 24/7.

Do not have the same brain dead attitude of worshipping the like of the Kardashians.
