Hey I had questions regarding transit visa for London. 
I am having F1 visa valid till May2018 but no valid OPT as I am on cap gap i20.H1 will be kicking in from October 1st.Please advice if i can travel via London.
Please advice.

Yes you can ! but transit Visa is required when you want to get out of the Airport. I am sure you are not looking to get out of the airport so no need.
