My friend who is a Nigeria got his student visa cancelled at the point of entry into USA. The immigration officer felt he has other agenda to migrate to the USA rather than study after checking through his phone and was deported. This happened last year november. He has decided to reapply for a B1/B2 Visa with his wife and children. Will like to confirm if his status will not affect issuing him a visiting visa.. Thank you
