With effect from July 2016 new Sol has already been introduced, SOL is skilled occupation list of the country designed based on yearly occupation demand availability in the country.

for Australia there is 189/190 subclass visa to file your Skilled independent PR visa. Australia PR process definitely faster relative to other countries immigration process.
