If it is a B1 visa that will not be an issue, however need to check with your previous employer if he updated your employment status with the US embassy. If nothing have been done then you can visit.

If you have applied for change in the visa status then it will not be problem, or if you are still employed with the employer of your H-1B sponsor it will be no problem for your Green Card process.
